Elected Officials & Candidates

In alignment with the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th purposes of Lions Clubs International—promoting good government and citizenship; engaging in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of our communities; providing a forum for open discussion of public matters (excluding partisan politics and sectarian religion); and encouraging selfless, ethical service— the Greater Houston Lions Club acknowledges that some of our members are declared candidates for public office.

Consistent with the 6th tenet of our Code of Ethics, which emphasizes civic duty and service to our nation, state, and community, we honor these members' commitment to public service. Lions Clubs are strictly nonpartisan and may not endorse or support any candidate for elected office. This page is intended solely as an informational resource recognizing our members' civic involvement. It does not constitute an endorsement of any candidate, their political affiliations, or personal views.
